Esa es la edad de nuestro bebé ahora. Ya soy papá, aunque faltan algunos meses para tener a mi hija (o hijo) en mis brazos. Airin, mi amada esposa, está feliz que no cabe en sí, y mis padres y sus padres también están emocionados. Abajo hay unas "fotos" de nuestro bebé, ya pondré más luego cuando haya más material.
Ahora se viene toda una nueva etapa en mi vida, con muchas interrogantes y tierras inexploradas. Espero ser buen padre y buen esposo, que más puedo pedir en la vida sino exactamente eso, y poder estar orgulloso de mi hijo (o hija). Soy feliz, más que nunca.
Five weeks and four days
That is the age of our baby now. I am already a dad, although there are still some months to wait before I hava my daughter (or son) in my arms. Airin, my beloved wife, is happy beyond words, and my parents and hers are also excited. Below there are some "photos" of our baby, I will put more material when I get it.
A new phase is starting in my life, with lots of questions and unexplored lands. I hope to be a good father and a good husband, what else can I ask in life but exactly that, and to be proud of my son (or daughter). I am happier than I've ever been.

Como todos ya saben, finalmente me casé, y me faltan palabras para decirles cuan feliz soy. He convertido el DVD de nuestro matrimonio a FLV en 5 partes de más o menos 15 minutos cada una.
El DVD fue hecho por Impetus SAC. Ha sido producido muy profesionalmente, con mucho cariño y paciencia. Gracias a Erika y Edgardo, por preservar este evento tan importante en nuestras vidas.

As you all know, I finally got married, and words are not enough to tell you how happy I am. I have converted our wedding DVD into 5 FLV movies of about 15 minutes each.
The DVD was made by Impetus SAC. It's been made very professionally, with lots of care and patience. Thanks to Erika and Edgardo, for preserving this important event in our lives.
La fecha de nuestro matrimonio se acerca cada vez mas. Airin y yo estamos ocupados con que todo este listo, buscando departamento, arreglando la fiesta de recepción, etc. Algo que ya tenemos listo, son nuestros aros de matrimonio.
Estos estan hechos de oro amarillo, con un banda estrecha de oro blanco en el medio. Lo que me asombra (a mi que no estoy acostumbrado a usar anillos), es el inmenso tamaño del mio comparado con el de Airin. Tengo dedos gruesos en verdad, mi anillo fácilmente circunscribe el de ella.

Wedding bands
The date for our wedding is drawing near. Airin and myself are busy getting all the stuff ready, finding an apartment, taking care of the reception party, etc. One thing that we already have taken care of, is that we got our wedding bands already.
They are made of yellow gold, with a narrow white gold track in the middle. What amazes me (who am not used to wearing rings), is the sheer size of mine compared to Airin's. I got fat fingers indeed, mi ring circumbscribes hers easily.

So, it finally happened. Yesterday (Oct. 15, 2006) I asked my lovely Airin's hand in marriage from her parents. Now, we are getting married on March 2007.
Got to confess that I was nervous while doing the deed, but I expected that they would agree, and they did. Of course before that we had a splendid lunch (with a great italian wine) at Trattoria Mamma Lola , which is so far, my favorite Italian restaurant in Lima.
Following the tradition of Mamma Lola's we scribbled our musings on the walls (my fiance's father wrote it in Japanese). Hope to see those lines again and again, and remember this day. The day I announced that I want to share my life with my sweet Airin.
I am happy beyond words, rhymes or songs. I know it is cursi to write this on my web site, but I really do not care. I am happy, and that is all that matters.
Oficialmente comprometido
Finalmente pasó. Ayer (15 de octubre del 2006) pedí a sus padres que me concedieran la mano (en matrimonio) de mi bella Airin. Así que en Marzo del 2007 nos estamos casando.
Debo confesar de que estaba nervioso mientras daba mi discurso, pero esperaba que estuvieran de acuerdo, y lo estuvieron. Por supuesto que antes tuvimos un almuerzo espléndido (con un gran vino italiano) en la Trattoria Mamma Lola , que, hasta ahora, es mi sitio favorito en Lima de comida italiana.
Siguiendo la tradición de Mamma Lola, escribimos nuestros pensamientos en las paredes (el padre de mi novia lo hizo en japonés). Espero ver esas líneas una y otra vez, y recordar este día. El día que anuncié que quiero compartir mi vida con mi dulce Airin.
Estoy tan feliz que no son suficientes las palabras, los versos, o las canciones. Sé que es muy cursi el escribir esto en mi sitio de web, pero francamente, no me importa. Estoy feliz, y eso es lo único importante.
... y ahora ya no estoy solo, tengo a Airin a mi lado.

Por alguna razón que aún no alcanzo a comprender (y que según ella, no necesito entender) Airin-chan me ama, y yo la amo intensamente. Esto demuestra que aún los nerds solteros mas inveterados pueden hallar alguien que los complemente plenamente.
